K-12
Fuquay-Varina is part of the Wake County Public School System—the largest school system in the state and one of the top performing large systems in the nation. The Town currently has five (5) elementary schools, one (1) middle school and one (1) high school.
Community Colleges
Wake Tech Community College has its main campus on US Hwy 401 on the north side of Fuquay-Varina. With an annual enrollment of more than 65,000 students, Wake Tech is the second largest community college in the state. In addition to excellent curriculum and continuing education, the college provides customized training, often at no charge, to qualifying new and expanding industry.
Four-Year Colleges and Universities
The Research Triangle Region, of which Fuquay-Varina is a part, is home to 11 colleges and universities including the three tier-one research universities—NC State, UNC and Duke—that form the corners of the Research Triangle.
